If your gums get sore and infected often, you probably just need to make a couple of changes to your dental hygiene cleaning routine. Here are 2 healthy tips that will help you to keep your gums in great shape.

Apple Cider Vinegar

First, one of your best weapons you can use against oral germs is apple cider vinegar. This will help your mouth, and vinegar actually helps to clean out your intestines.

To use apple cider vinegar as a gum treatment, you can do one of three things. First, you can brush your gums with the vinegar after you brush with toothpaste. Brushing with vinegar will help rub the vinegar into your gums and between your teeth. This will kill bacteria that are trying to get into your gums even after brushing with toothpaste.

Second, you can spray the vinegar into your mouth while you shower. You may want to choose this method if you cannot handle the potency of the flavor when brushing. When you spray your gums a few times, you can easily let a little shower water run into your mouth so that the flavor quickly disappears.

Third, you can also swish with apple cider vinegar to make sure that the solution moves between your teeth. Once again, this is not the tastiest option, but it will do wonders for your gums if you apply the treatment every day.

Hydrogen Peroxide

Another way to kill gum infection and disease is by flossing with flossers coated in hydrogen peroxide. You cannot buy flossers that are already coated, so you will need a bottle of peroxide as well.

After brushing, just dip the flosser in the hydrogen peroxide, and begin flossing between your teeth. Dip the flosser for each side of the mouth, since it will wear off after a few uses.

When you floss with peroxide, you can kill the bacteria that is along the tooth and gum lines. You should try to use this method once or twice a week, but do not do this every day since too much hydrogen can wear down the enamel on your teeth.

As you apply both of these treatments to your regular dental routine, you should notice that your gums feel better, healthier, and less prone to infection. Just make sure that you keep up with the treatments so that infections do not return. Dental experts like Family First Dentistry LLC can give you more advice
